Snow Drift From The Pyrenees Mountains

The above snowdrift came on a warm Friday morning, straight from the Pyrenees Mountains. Or at least straight from the dog that came from the Pyrenees.

Klondike spent five days staying over at the house of his awesome dog walker while his domestic support staff (that would be Bill and Mieko) were out of town. The lightest, most casual brushing yielded what you see.  A serious brushing would have probably caused an extra four inches of snowfall and triggered blizzard warnings all through Berkeley.

And yes… for those of you with sharp eyes, the black and yellow thing between Klondike and the chair is the Furminator. Here’s a close up…
